Moka Pot

The Moka Pot is a stove-top or electric coffee maker that produces coffee by passing boiling water pressurized by steam through ground coffee.

The Moka Pot, our Signature Coffee is found and being brought into Route 66 Café while we are looking around for quality coffee bean. What attract us so much is that we feel so relax and enjoyable while brewing coffee with Moka Pot. Of course, it produces a rich, authentic espresso in just minutes! Let’s show you how…

#1 Step

Preheat the water and get coffee (as fine as table salt) ready!

#2 Step

Add the heated water and fill to the line in the bottom of the brewer.

#3 Step

Insert the filter basket into the brewer bottom. Fill the basket with coffee, slightly mounded, and level the surface off with your finger. Brush away loose grounds on the top edge of the filter basket.

#4 Step

Screw the top and bottom together. Put the Moka Pot on the stove, use moderate heat and make sure that the handle is not subjected to heat.

#5 Step

The coffee will begin to come out and you will hear a puffing sound and see a rich-brown stream that will get progressively lighter in color till the coffee stops bubbling out. And WALA! Here you go a cup of aromatic coffee. You may add in either milk or water depends on your preference.
